Official: Chelsea agree deal to sign Tosin Adarabioyo.

Chelsea confirmes the signing of Tosin Adarabioyo, with the center back signing a four-year contract and scheduled to join formally on July 1 after his Fulham contract expires.

After making a lot of noise and breaking records in the last two transfer windows, this one is a little less showy, with the 26-year-old defender entering on a free transfer to replace the renowned Thiago Silva, who also signed on a free transfer four years ago.

But we should not have such high hopes for young Tosin. Thiago cannot be replaced, especially at this stage of his career. Tosin, a former Manchester City prospect, has already established himself as a Premier League-level defender at Fulham over the last four years, and we can undoubtedly benefit from some of his talents.
