The release of Kwadwo Nkansah’s film “A Country Called Ghana” in Sunyani has been postponed.

Richard Tawiah Amponsah, a 3-year-old child, died in a horrific accident that Lilwin and a few members of his team were involved in just before the film’s debut in Kumasi on Saturday, May 25, 2024.

Many people have lamented the child’s death because they believe it could have been prevented if the comedian had driven more slowly and complied with traffic laws.

LilWin said that the decision to reschedule the Premiere in Sunyani was made out of regard for the three-year-old child in a message that was posted on his Instagram page.

According to him, a new date would be communicated later. He used the opportunity to apologise to the public for their earlier statement which was deemed insensitive to the plight of the bereaved family.

The multifaceted celebrity also urged his fans to pray for him, his manager, and his security detail, who are currently receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
