This Jamaican rum punch recipe comes from Original Flava: Caribbean Recipes From Home by Craig and Shaun McAnuff (£20, Bloomsbury). Ingredients
- 250ml white rum
- 150ml dark or coconut rum
- 200ml strawberry-flavoured syrup or grenadine
- 250ml pineapple juice
- 250ml orange juice
- 4 limes, juiced (about 100ml)
- a pinch nutmeg, freshly grated
- a dash Angostura bitters, (optional)
- to serve orange, lemon and lime slices
Method
- STEP 1Tip all the ingredients except the fruit slices into a large pitcher. Stir and add plenty of crushed ice, finishing with the fruit slices to serve.
