Ghana Premier League: Three players nominated for NASCO player of the month award

Three standout performers from different Ghana Premier League clubs have been nominated for the prestigious NASCO Player of the Month award for April 2024.

Leading the shortlist is Berekum Chelsea forward, Stephen Amankonah, whose prolific scoring prowess earned him four goals in five league games, totaling 430 minutes of action on the field.

Francis Acquah, representing Bechem United, also secured a spot on the list for his impressive performances.

The defender showcased his versatility by netting two goals in 450 minutes across five league games.

Acquah’s exceptional contributions also earned him the NASCO Player of the Match accolade twice during April.

Completing the trio is Evans Osei Wusu, who delivered stellar performances for his team.

The talented player demonstrated his goal-scoring ability by notching four goals in just four league matches, accumulating 308 minutes of playtime.

Wusu’s outstanding displays also earned him one Player of the Match award in April.

The winner of the NASCO Player of the Month award will receive a 43-inch NASCO television, courtesy of ElectroLand Ghana Limited.

This recognition underscores the commitment to excellence and celebrates the outstanding contributions of players in the Ghana Premier League.
